EXTERNAL STUDENTS
We welcome external students of any age to take exams at our centre. We also cater for Special Needs and disabled students. Please contact us with any queries you may have.

Who can use our Exam Centre?
We are open to all for written exams. You do not have to be a student of Kip McGrath Aylesbury to write an exam with us. So if you’re a child or adult, at school or home schooled, or if you have special needs, we can help you.
Exam Deadlines
Exams are held in March, May/June November and January. Kip Aylesbury follows the exact timetable as schools. The deadline for candidates to apply for entrance into the March 2012 examination series is 12 January 2012. The deadlines for entries for summer 2012 examinations are:
- GCSE: 7 February 2012
- AS/A Level: 6 March 2012
You may still register after these dates but you may be liable for late fees.
We recommend that you register well in advance to ensure your place is guaranteed. Both Ed Excel and AQA Exam Boards publish their exam timetables on their websites. Contact us for further information.
Our Fees
- 1-Unit AS/A Level: £95.00 per unit
- 2-Unit AS/A Level: £80 per unit
- 3-Unit AS/A Level: £55.00 per unit
- English/Maths/Science GCSEs: £95.00
- Other GCSEs: £85.00
- IGCSEs: £95.00
You will need to indicate on the entry form if you wish us to claim an overall grade for you for an AS/A level.
What if I have Special Needs?
We cater for students who require special educational services to write their exams such as lap tops, scribes or wheelchair access. Contact us prior to registeration and we will address your special needs.
Supplementary advice
If you are unsure of what exam board or examination you need to sit, we provide a professional consultation which can help you chose the right qualification for you. Depending on the exam, we can also offer special tuition, mock exams, educational material and revision courses.
